The Smash´s place in the Meta is mainly Gargantuar and Gargologist decks, alongside the rare Zoo decks. Here we have a great Gargantuar and Gargologist deck which is super to climb up the ranks!
Turn 7 Zombot 1000 O_O |
This deck focuses on a ramp, where you can play a card pretty much every turn. Playing Gargologist will get all of your Gargantuars into battle quickly, while you move, heal and Locust Swarm any big threats. Finally, play your gargantuars and watch them destroy everything!
X4 Arm Wrestler: Will bait out removal cards. Also great to deny a lane and do constant small damage.
X2 Nibble: Mainly used against Bonk Choy and to turn an equal trade into a favorable trade. Also heals which comes in handy.
X2 Rolling Stone: Clear any small plants so they dont chip away at your health.
X4 Gargologist: The main core of the deck. Play it when its safe to do so, but if your were gonna play a gargantuar either way, it can be used as a block.
X4 Sumo Wrestler: Useful to move weak plants to Arm Wrestler to buff him up, and as a blocker with his Tombstone against Re-Peat Moss.
X3 Weed Spray: If you dont start out with Rolling Stone, you can use this to clear the field of any weak plants. Using it well is KEY to winning.
X4 Medic: Both a great body block, trader, and healer. Mainly used to heal yourself.
X3 Locust Swarm: Removal of any key threats. Make good use of them.
X3 Smashing Gargantuar: Will give Frenzy to all the other Gargantuars, and a nice Meatshield and damager as well.
X2 Deep Sea Gargantuar: Your main amphibious threat. Dont be afraid to play it on the ground either, as it can 2 for 1 plants.
X3 Defensive End: A great shield and damager, as well at avoiding almost all removal, since Tricks will cost 2 more.
X2 Nurse Gargantuar: Why not doctor? Anyways this card will heal up all the damage, and better with Frenzy.
X2 Rodeo Gargantuar: Same as Sumo, but as a Gargantuar! Everything explained in the Sumo Wrestler area works here.
X2 Zombot 1000: Your main game finisher and remover. If theres a Gargologist on the field, it becomes 7 brains. Can catch the plant hero off if used greatly and correctly.
Its kinda expensive, but works amazing! You can check out the guide GearBox did on the deck as well: http://pvzheroesdecks.com/deck/gargantuars-in-the-mist-2-1/
According to the guide, he switched up the 2 Rodeo Gargantuars for 2 Wannabe Heros. If you have them id say add them, but if you are on a budget use the Rodeos instead.
Thats all folks! Next time we will check out the hero of Nuts, and who has gotten extremely scary with removal recently... Wall-Knight!
