Event Card Analysis: Sun Shroom

Sun-ShroomH
Sun-Shroom is an event plant card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Solar class. It costs 2 to play, and has 2. It has the Team-Up trait, and its ability gives the plant hero +1 at the start of the next turn and transforms it into a Sunnier-Shroom.

Sun-Shroom can be treated as Sunflower that costs 1 sun more, but has 1 extra health. But in addition, it turns into a Sunnier-Shroom if it survives onto the next turn which becomes a better version of Twin Sunflower with 3 health instead of 2. Due to Sun-Shroom having 2 health and transforming into another plant the next turn, it can withstand a zombie with 1 strength or less, then transform into a bulkier plant at full health.

Chompzilla can use Sun-Shroom in succession with Muscle Sprout as when it transforms into Sunnier-Shroom, Muscle Sprout will activate its ability again. She can also boost it with cards like Fertilize and Plant Food to help keep it alive. Finally, she can use Black-Eyed Pea to discourage the zombie hero from using tricks to destroy it.

Solar Flare can use it as an alternative for Sunflower in mushroom decks, as being in the mushroom tribe, it can benefit from Buff-Shroom and Punish-Shroom. However, do not play Buff-Shroom until it turns into Sunnier-Shroom, as its stat boosts will be erased when it transforms.

Wall-Knight is able to increase its strength with Spineapple, allowing it to attack back. He can also increase Sunnier-Shroom's health to make it survive longer and produce more sun and can also use tough plants like Wall-Nut to protect Sunnier-Shroom and tricks such as Gardening Gloves, Bubble Up and Root Wall to move or protect it. He can also use Steel Magnolia to increase its health, or 2nd-Best Taco of All Time to heal it.

Rose does not have many uses or synergies with this, but she can use Shellery and other Team-Up plants to protect Sun-Shroom, and freeze, bounce, or destroy zombies that may damage it.

Sun-Shroom has no strength and 2 health, so you can easily destroy it with Rolling Stone or Bungee Plumber. However, it you manage to leave it, be careful as Sunnier-Shroom has 1 extra health and produces 2 sun each turn like Twin Sunflower for a cost of 2 sun. So if possible, aim on destroying Sun-Shroom or Sunnier-Shroom to prevent the plant hero from gaining a sun advantage for a cheap cost. Sunnier-Shroom can be destroyed by Zombot's Wrath, Rolling Stone, Electrobolt, or Stayin' Alive.

PvZH Card Of The Week: Peashooter

PeashooterH
Peashooter is a basic common plant card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Mega-Grow class. It costs 1 to play, and has 1/1. It does not have any traits nor abilities.
It is the basic plant of the Mega-Grow class.

The advantages of it is that it only costs one sun and is given at the start of the game. However, it should be replaced as soon as possible when the player gets stronger plant fighters such as Party Thyme or Bonk Choy while progressing through the game, as it does not have any special effect and is very weak, making it outclassed by many of the other plant fighters.

If you need to give this plant a boost, use Torchwood for extra strength at a cheap price, or The Podfather for extra strength and health at a slightly more expensive price, as Peashooter is a pea plant. Additionally, tricks such as Embiggen work too. However, saving these boosts for stronger plant fighters later in a battle may be more beneficial.

It is important to note that Pea Pod is a complete superior to Peashooter, as both are in the same tribes, classes, and with the same cost and starting stats, but Pea Pod has a useful ability while Peashooter does not. So, this plant serves as nothing more than an extra plant to use in pea-based decks once enough Pea Pods are obtained.

This plant is considerably easy to counter due to its low base stats, including its combination of lacking an effect, so you should be able to destroy this with almost every zombie fighter, or damaging tricks such as Nibble. However, if Torchwood or The Podfather are used with this, take caution, as this could easily become a minor threat for a cheap price. Fireworks Zombie and Barrel of Deadbeards can easily remove this from the field, assuming its health isn't boosted.

Event Card Analysis: Pear Cub

Pear CubH
Pear Cub is an event plant card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Guardian class. It costs 3 to play, and has 1/1. It has the Amphibious trait, and its ability makes a Grizzly Pear on its place when it is destroyed.

Pear Cub is very weak for its cost, but do not let that fool you. Since your opponent is going to have to face Grizzly Pear once you destroy this plant, it can make your opponent think again before playing their zombies or tricks.

Since it also has the Amphibious trait, it is useful on preventing Amphibious zombies from continuously doing damage to you. Its Amphibious trait also lets it be boosted by Navy Bean, though only Citron can do this normally. If your opponent lacks Amphibious zombies such as Rustbolt, Z-Mech, or Professor Brainstorm, it can cause issues for them, especially when it is boosted.
You can boost its stats to put your opponent in a dilemma, though if it gets higher stats than Grizzly Pear, your opponent can simply choose to destroy it without any hesitation.

Since it makes another plant by its ability, Muscle Sprout synergizes well with it, although only Grass Knuckles can normally use such a combo.

Use caution when playing it in unprotected lanes, however, as smart opponents may keep that lane open to get an easy superpower or two at no real risk to themselves. If you play as Grass Knuckles, you can force a zombie to attack it with Whipvine or Sweet Potato.

Think of Pear Cub as Barrel of Deadbeards on the plants side, except that it does not do damage to all fighters on the field when destroyed, but instead makes a stronger fighter on its place instead. Do not get lured by Pear Cub's weak stats. If you think you cannot handle Grizzly Pear with what cards are in your hand, do not destroy Pear Cub. It is better to take little damage to prepare for a safe fight than to recklessly destroy it and put yourself in danger. But also beware, as unlike Barrel of Deadbeards, your opponent has near-total control of this card, as plants play after zombies.

One way to deal with it is to prevent it from being destroyed. If Pear Cub is actually played on a lane with a powerful zombie, you can play Smoke Bomb to move that zombie away, or Terrify to move Pear Cub away. You can also play Shrink Ray or Landscaper to remove its strength so it can't chip away your health while you leave it alone.

Another way is to play a zombie that can destroy both Pear Cub and Grizzly Pear alone. While any zombie with high stats can play that role, zombies with the Frenzy trait are even better as they can destroy both plants in a single attack, provided their stats are at least 4/2. Vimpire is a good example of such a zombie, as he destroys Pear Cub, gains extra stats, becomes able to destroy Grizzly Pear now that it has 4 strength, and hits your opponent for 6 damage, all in one turn of combat.

Do not use Fireworks Zombie or Barrel of Deadbeards against Pear Cub unless the circumstances are in your favor, as it can only leave you in a tough spot. This also applies to Area of Effect cards like Weed Spray and The Chickening.

Video Thursday: Great Imposter BrainFreeze Deck by FryEmUp!

I love Imposter. Hes funny and has a great mustache, but other than Imp decks, he doesnt have much use, except in this deck made by amazing and very experienced PVZH Player: FryEmUp. Check it out!
Ya know, this makes me want Maniacal Laugh more... Why did i craft 3 Blooming Hearts... :(

BREAKING NEWS: New Ranked Season and Set 2 RELEASE DATES!!!!!! (MAJOR SPOILERS)

Users at the PvZ Heroes Reddit have dug-up info on the new season of ranked mode, alongside... THE SET 2 RELEASE DATE!

Reddit User "The_ACFP" shared this picture confirming the possible Set 2 Release Date.

Afterwards, Reddit User "Pealover" said the following:
"To be more exact, it's June 12, 6:00 PM UTC time."

This makes alot of sense, as High Voltage Currant, which many consider a Set 2 Event Card, is dropping June 6. This could very well mean Early Access Galactic Packs will start to be sold in the shop.

The_ACFP also said:
"If you pay attention, you can see that the file that contains this date is called "pvpdata", so it contains stuff of online modes only, so we can conclude that can be Ranked Matches Season 2's release. And then there's Early Access, and as far as we know, Early Access packs Lasts 1-2 Weeks. So we have more 2 Release Dates: 06/04 (High Voltage Currant's Event Start) and/or 05/30 (Sun-Shroom's Event Start. It kinda fits more because of the event name, "Chosen Ones)."

Note that name of Sun-Shroom´s event: "Chosen Ones"
In alot of media, Chosen One or Ones mean someone that could save something due to his amazing abilities or traits.
We know there will be 2 new Heroes, which are based on Space. Are these the "Chosen Ones"?

Onto Pealover´s thread, where he showcases the way the new Ranked mode is gonna work. Its gonna be alot faster to level-up ranks, and this is great considering they will now last 5 weeks only. Below are the stars and info that it will take. He also shared the possibly true release date of Set 2, alongside the prizes for getting to a certain league before the season is over.

The dev version has once again updated, and along with it the PvP Season data has updated, too, with probably almost completed data and start date, too!

As we can see, the rewards are gonna be much smaller compared to this new Season, but it is so much faster to rank up (3 STARS FOR WINNING ONCE IN WOOD LEAGUE?! Sign me up!).
The season ending rewards are new and very cool! They also tell us that the shop will still sell normal Premium Packs alongside the new Galactic Packs.

So... If they release Galactic Early Access Packs, will you buy them? Personally not me.
Thank yall for reading! Have an awesome day :)

Deck Monday (+UPDATE!): Wall-Knight Flowers!

Ya know, Flowers, while powerful, are kinda weak. But with some awesome cards and setup, they can overpower anything and everything!
This deck focuses on Flowers, starting with removal early on, then getting carried thru turns 4-10 with your Flowers, whether ya go Board Control with Briar Rose or Stalling till turn 10 and use Wall-Nut Bowling is your choice. Flowers are cute, but some are definitely DEADLY.

X4 Morning Glory: A solid 2/2 plant for 1 sun. Use it for early defence if you need to, or save it for mid/late game where it becomes a resilient 3/3. In some games you might not need to use it to deal damages, so save it as a 1 sun removal with Briar Rose synergy.

X3 Grave Buster: Gravestone decks are the strongest zombie decks at the moment so Gravebuster will come in handy in these match-ups. Use it to get rid of key gravestones (for example Pogo Bouncer) and disrupt their tempo.

X4 Hot Date: There are so many uses and it is never a dead draw. In early-game it is an effective removal for key zombies such as Toxic Waste Imp/Gargologist/Zombot Drone Engineer, or use it as a gravestones blocker. In mid-game it protects your key flowers and takes care of water lane zombies. In late game it is a great lane manipulator for the best Wall Nut Bowling finish. A great control card and one of the best in the game.

X4 Second Best Taco: The two best things in one card, and it is an auto-include in every Wall Knight control deck. More of a mid-late game card so don’t keep it in your starting hand.

X4 Pear Cub: This is great for stalling and to generate card advantage, and a good gravestone blocker. The activated 5/4 Grizzly pear is a formidable force and your opponent will often respond to it immediately next turn by blocking or removing it, which gives you a free turn to catch up on your defence or play Metal Petal Sunflower. 90% of the time it will take 2 or more cards to neutralize this which is great value! It can also be used to counter Barrel of Deadbeard/Firework zombie.

X3 Whack-a-Zombie: Standard early removal which this deck needs vs tempo and aggro. This in combination with Hot Date provides the best early game control.

X4 Metal Petal Sunflower: A solid fighter and very resilient to tricks. The only removal tricks that it will die to on Turn 4 is Cake Explosion, B-Flat, and Smash’s Slammin Smackdown. The extra sun ramp is great for activating 3/3 morning glory 1 turn earlier or playing Briar Rose on Turn 5. You may play it on Turn 8 for an accelerated Turn 9 Wall nut bowling.

X3 Doom Shroom: The best removal trick for this deck and do not replace them with Sham Rocket. It can often wipe the whole board vs pet/sport/garg decks, or save you from a hairy Plankwalker RNG. Your plants will rarely be affected since the majority of your plants are 3 attack.

X3 Power Flower: 3/5 is good, strikethrough is great, and healing is amazing. This is one of your key plants and play it safe if you can. It is resilient to most removal tricks, and 3 attack strikethrough damage will quickly take your opponent’s health down. It is also a great healer. In many instances I was down to 2-5 health and win the game 2-3 turns later with nearly full health.

X3 Briar Rose: Your main line of defence. While it can be used as a Turn 6 removal against a tough zombie such as Defensive End, having a solid board of flowers is when Briar Rose will shine. It is the key to success against Gravestone/Teleport-bonus attack decks. Try play it in Lane 4 if you can, protect it with your superpowers (Nut Signal/Bubble-up), team up and heal against direct damage tricks if necessary.

X2 Poppin Poppies: Great flower synergy with Briar Rose and Power Flower. Its little Buddies are great for blocking and lane clogging, and they are all “deadly” in presence of Briar Rose. Beware that a 4/4 body is a target for Rocket Science.

X3 Wall Nut Bowling: A solid win condition and a much better choice over Cornucopia. With 3 copies, there is a 95% stacked probability of drawing one before Turn 10 (assume 2 additional card draw from Superpower/Taco). Plan your board early and use removal and lane manipulation to clear the ground lanes. The preparation will pay off and 4 out of 5 times this card will win you the game this turn or next.

UPDATE TIME!
Hey guys! This next update is not as big as our last one, but now Mondays will be for Card Of The Week, while Fridays will be Deck Friday´s. This is to ensure better editing and better posts of said Decks. Thanks for reading!

Event Card Analysis: Imposter

ImposterH
Imposter is an event zombie card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Sneaky class. He costs 1 to play, and has 2/1. He does not have any traits, and his ability adds a random Imp card that costs 1, which can be another Imposter, into the zombie hero's hand when he is destroyed, then places a mustache on that Imp when it is played.

Imposter can be a great addition for Imp decks, as he gives you more Imps when he is destroyed. You can treat this as Haunting Zombie but with a slightly riskier ability, as he can give you either a powerful Imp, or a really weak one.
So far, Imposter can only give the player:
  • Imp
  • Swabbie
  • Mini-Ninja
  • Impfinity Clone
  • Leprechaun Imp
  • Another Imposter
Getting an Imp or Swabbie is the worst case scenario, as they do almost nothing, though they can be used as a meat shield or as a glass cannon if paired with Toxic Waste Imp or as extra cards with Imp Commander. Mini-Ninja has the Anti-Hero trait, meaning he can do some good damage early in the match. Impfinity Clone is fragile, but is seen as stronger than Swabbie and can act as Snorkel Zombie with the Imp tribe. Leprechaun Imp is possibly the best Imp to get, since he has decent stats and will shuffle 2 Pots of Gold your deck. Getting another Imposter also means you get to draw another Imp, making it good for synergy.

You can treat Imposter as a cheap Haunting Zombie, but that works with the Imp tribe. Be careful if this stacks with Imp Commander or Toxic Waste Imp as it can ruin your defenses. In addition, be careful of destroying this as it can provide more Imps to the zombie hero's hand. The good news is is that you will only have to worry about Imps that cost 1 brain. Mini-Ninja can be dangerous if the zombie hero has Smoke Bomb, but virtually any attacking plant can be used to get rid of them.

Event Card Analysis: Regifting Zombie

Regifting ZombieH
Regifting Zombie is an event zombie card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Brainy class. He costs 2 to play, and has 3/2. He does not have any traits, and his ability gives 2 cards to both the plant and zombie hero.

Regifting Zombie is a good option early on, as he only costs 2 and has 3/2, which are respectable stats early on in the game. Compared to the Cell Phone Zombie, who gives you 1 card, Regifting Zombie gives 2, but at the cost of your opponent also gaining 2 cards. In that case, be careful of playing him if your opponent has a low amount of cards. In addition, it may be wise to swap Regifting Zombie for Cell Phone Zombie if the risk is higher than the reward. Otherwise, the plant hero may obtain cards that can help stop your attack. However, in terms of fighting, he is essentially Fire Peashooter for zombies, except with no beneficial tribe.

As for its ability, it can also be used to draw Pot of Gold more easily should Leprechaun Imp be played. Or, you can force your opponent to overdraw and be unable to block. If the game goes extremely late, you can also try to use this to make your opponent run out of cards, since the player who runs out of cards first instantly loses regardless of health. However, this occurs rarely in general matches.

Regifting Zombie can be of great use to Super Brainz in a mill deck as you can use this to add a lot of cards in your opponent's hand, which can prevent them from getting a Super-Block as long as there are 10 or more cards in their hand. In addition with Super Brainz, Regifting Zombie can be combined with cards like Pogo Bouncer to benefit said deck very easily.

Be wary when Bananasaurus Rex is on the field, as it will get boosted when Regifting Zombie is played. Additionally, if Sow Magic Beans is played, your opponent will have a higher chance of drawing Magic Beanstalk throughout the game.

As Super Brainz, you can use Firefighter or Mixed-Up Gravedigger to make him replay his ability. However, like said, be careful on when to do this, as you may supply the plant hero with cards in desperate needs, putting you in a bad spot.

Against Regifting Zombie, he can be a challenge early on in the game, due to his high stats for the point of the game in which he is usually played in. However, his gimmick, which makes each player draw two cards, can be both beneficial or a waste of space, as you could get good cards or ones that are less useful. But for most, you may obtain cards that could help you win the game if you are low on cards.

Regardless of the type of cards you get, if you have Bananasaurus Rex on the field, it gets +2/+2 when Regifting Zombie is played, as you get two cards for free.

However, if you manage to have a lot of cards in your hand, you do need to be careful is Regifting Zombie is played as it prevents you from getting a Super-Block if you are holding 8 to 10 cards.

Time Travel Wednesday´s: Molekale Gameplay! (SPOILERS)

Here´s Molekale! Hes basically PineClone, but as a legendary and transforms plants into a random plant costing 1 more. Its crazy fun!

How do ya think he will be used?

SPOILERS IN THE VIDEO

Event Card Analysis: Secret Agent

Secret AgentH
Secret Agent is a Beastly Professional Trick, which costs 1 brain and bounces a zombie, giving it +3/+3.

This card is very risky due to that it bounces a zombie, and makes you lose Tempo, but can be exceptionally rewarding as a match goes on as it gives it +3/+3, and is 2 brains less than Vitamin Z. The best zombie to use it on is cheap zombies with either good strength or health, like Cat Lady or Tennis Champ. That way, your opponent will have to face a very powerful zombie on the next turn. This also means the zombie Bounced will activate its ability again if it has the ability. This can be really beneficial for zombies with the Gravestone trait, or other zombies that have a "When Played" ability like Trickster.

Electric Boogaloo can use this on a zombie, like Newspaper Zombie or Jester to not only reset their stats, but also to make them stronger. This can be really useful with glass cannons as well, like Exploding Imp or Tennis Champ. Immorticia and The Smash should focus on zombies with the Gravestone trait and other zombies that have "When Played" abilities. Brain Freeze should consider replacing Firefighters with this, as they do the same thing, with this option being cheaper and boosting the Bounced zombie.

There is not much that can be done to counter this card other than defeating every zombie so they cannot be bounced. In addition, having board control will make the zombie hero second guess bouncing a zombie, so that they do not get damaged more. Prepare a Shamrocket just in case the zombie used is too powerful to normally deal with. If it is a zombie with the Gravestone trait, use Grave Buster to destroy it easily. If this gets played, make sure to keep the Bounced zombie in mind, as it can come out at any time. But be prepared for the zombie to be played again as it will have better stats than before. Or alternatively, you can Bounce the zombie again to remove its boost.

Deck Monday: ZOOKSMAN´s Gravestone Neptuna!

Gravestone Neptuna is known as one of the stronger decks out there. Here´s the final version of Zookman´s Gravestone Neptuna, which includes Zombie High Diver!

X4 Headstone Carver: Boosts all the gravestones in the deck. Only play it as a turn 1 play if you have Swashbuckler coming up next turn.

X3 Rolling Stone: Takes out weak and very dangerous cards like Pea Pod, but most importantly: Lily of The Valley.

X4 Sumo Wrestler: Moves plants around, and is best used with Stealthy Imp to make him attack face.

X4 SwashBuckler Zombie: Great turn 2 card for the most part.

X2 Landscaper: Reduces the attack of powerful plants or to clog lanes.

X3 Line Dancing Zombie: Great removal and trades well with most plants.

X2 Stealthy Imp: Damage Dealer.

X3 Weed Spray: Big removal in turn 3 or later.

X2 Zombie High Diver: Great damage dealer in the water lane, especially with the boost of Headstone Carver.

X4 Pogo Zombie: Bounces boosted plants or dangerous plants.

X4 Mixed Up GraveDigger: Used to reuse abilities from Landscaper, Pogo, Sumo, Plank Walker and to heal off damage too. Can be used to try to go for face.

X1 Monster Mash: Boosts zombies. Best used with a full or almost full board.

X2 Zombot Sharktronic Sub: Basically gives all zombies Deadly. DONT play it in Turn 6.

X2 Zombot Plank Walker: Finisher.

So thats Neptuna Gravestone for ya! Its definitely fun and effective!

Event Card Analysis: Garlic

GarlicH

Garlic is an event plant card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, and a member of the Guardian class. It costs 1 to play, and has 1/5. It has the Team-Up trait, and its ability moves a zombie onto the lane on its left when that zombie hurts it. However, if said zombie is Vimpire, he will be instantly destroyed instead.

Garlic has the ability to divert zombies into a lane where they can easily be destroyed. You should not play it on the leftmost lane as it will nullify its ability. Try to boost Garlic's health so it can divert more zombies and keep in mind that it has the Team-Up trait.

This card is the best counter against Vimpire, as it will destroy him whenever he attacks Garlic. This is especially useful on missions where the zombie hero plays Vimpire, as Garlic can take care of him easily. However, do not always rely on this ability as not every player plays Vimpire, and even then, there are a few ways that Vimpire can avoid its ability.

This plant works well with plants with Splash Damage such as Snapdragon, and tricks like Cherry Bomb to divert zombies closer where they can be destroyed more easily.

You can also use this as a low-offense but high-defense plant like Cactus, as Garlic can destroy 1 health zombies while it survives a few attacks. In addition, its Team-Up trait can help protect your strong plants and move any threats onto lanes for them to attack.

Never use Vimpire to get rid of Garlic as this will destroy him as soon as he attacks Garlic. Although if you need Frenzy zombies to attack through Garlic, you can bring Smashing Gargantuar or Coffee Zombie. Interestingly, when using this strategy, the zombie with Frenzy that destroys the Garlic will move to the left and then it does a bonus attack at that left lane. This can be useful if there are weak plants to the left of Garlic.

If you use a zombie to destroy it, be sure to remember that it will end up in the lane to the left after it attacks. A great way to combat it is to use cards like Terrify and Sumo Wrestler to move it to the leftmost lane. This will nullify its ability, which makes it easier to destroy. If that is not an option, resort to using tricks on this instead.

You can also use Rolling Stone or Weed Spray to destroy this with ease as long its strength is not more than two.

Deck Monday: Super Brainz "Grave Problem"!

As many may remember, yesterday i shared me (Dan10000 in the vid) beating a famous Youtuber using a custom made Super Brainz Gravestone deck, which i named "Grave Problem". Im here to show the decklist and how it works!

With this deck you are looking for a good starting hand, with Headstone Carver and Swashbuckler Zombie. Having this combo or just Headstone Carver is essential to get the deck going. Getting other zombies like Line Dancer, Stealthy Imp, High Diver and Mixed-Up Gravedigger to do massive damage, while Pogo Bouncer bounces anything back, allowing for a free hit with Stealthy or to keep something alive.

X4 Headstone Carver: Boosts all the gravestones in the deck. Be careful and know what the enemy may play to counter it, but if its safe and you have Swashbuckler on your hand, its the best Turn 1 play. Play it either on the Heights or Lane 2.

X4 Swashbuckler Zombie: Best turn 2 play. Play it on an empty lane, and its better if you played Headstone Carver on Turn 1, as its already value even if it dies. You can play it on the Heights, Lane 3 or Lane 4, the last being the best.

X3 Backyard Bounce: Bounces a plant to go face with a strong Zombie or to bounce a strong or dangerous plant.

X3 Electrician: Doing a bonus attack to remove something or to go face is amazing and very good. Can also be used to remove something by itself.

X3 Fun-Dead Raiser: Card Draw... What do you expect something else?

X4 Line Dancing Zombie: Great removal and damage dealer. Its a good idea to move it to an empty lane if boosted with Headstone Carver, as it could potentially do 8 damage, which can be a game decider.

X3 Rocket Science: Removal for dangerous or high boosted plants.

X3 Stealthy Imp: Big damage dealer. Best used with Headstone Carver to keep it alive, alongside a Backyard Bounce or Pogo Bouncer.

X2 Zombie High Diver: Big threat on the water lane. Its mostly ignored due to not many ways to defeat it, specially once boosted.

X4 Pogo Bouncer: Same as Backyard Bounce, but can be boosted and also can be used to block or defeat another plant.

X3 Tomb-Raiser: Makes more graves to boost or use. Can be replaced for virtually anything if you want to or dont have them.

X2 Mixed Up Gravedigger: Mixes up all our graves, which reactivate their abilities. Mainly used with Pogo Bouncer and/or Electrician to reuse their great abilities.

X2 Surprise Gargantuar: Big finisher in case your boosted gravestones didnt finish the job already.

Its a fun deck, and just like Nutty Control i may do an upgraded version once i have some more cards, like Fire Rooster mainly.

Thanks for reading!
This week we will also go back to work and post daily (or semi daily. We will see bout that), so stay tuned for more!

Beating CaptainH using my "Grave Problem" Super Brainz Deck!

So today i ended up beating CaptainH (Or Captain Hack, who is a Youtuber who does PvZ 2 and Heroes) using my custom made Gravestone Super Brainz deck, which i call "Grave Problem". I´ll share it tomorrow in Deck Monday, but for now enjoy the video of the match!

Turns out putting 1080° and recording with Bandicam makes the video look like SHIT, so sorry for the rather bad quality in this. Thats kinda how Bandicam is sadly.

Enjoy!

Deck Friday (+UPDATE): Budget Super Brainz Imps

Heres a super good deck to rank up and easy to make by HR. Its fun, effective and great!

With this deck you are looking to MUG a full board of Imps, Pogos, Electricians and more to defeat the opponent quickly!

X4 Mini-Ninja: Great turn 1 play and can be an annoyance if left alone.

X2 Smoke Bomb: Can move your Anti-Hero or strong zombies around to deal damage to face or to remove something quickly.

X3 Fire Rooster: Small removal against Shrooms or heroes with no Small removal.

X4 Regifting Zombie: Will draw all the cards needed and can make the opponent Mill and not block. Can be replaced with Fishy Imps or Hot Dog Imps.

X4 Toxic Waste Imp: Gives all the Imps the Deadly trait, which will wipe out any plant if just a finger of theirs touches them.

X3 Electrician: Makes as a great removal by itself, or damage to face with other zombies.

X4 Stealthy Imp: Big damage dealer and finisher.

X4 Pogo Bouncer: Bounces a plant, whether overboosted, dangerous or to finish the game.

X4 Mixed-Up Gravedigger: Reactivates all other abilities like Pogo Bouncer´s, Regifting´s, Electrician´s, Fire Rooster´s and more. Also a standalone threat.

Now for the UPDATE!
We are rather sorry for the lack of posts recently. This blog takes alot more than the FusionFall Blog, as the posts are more elaborate. Also we are also getting our finals this month, which mostly come in tedious projects, but its all fine and easy :)

We promise we will get more posts going next week, alongside other cool stuff!

Thanks for reading!

Event Card Analysis: Gargantuar Throwing Imp

Gargantuar Throwing ImpH
Gargantuar Throwing Imp is a 5 cost, 1/2 Imp Zombie. Its ability makes a Smashing Gargantuar on a random lane when hurt.

This zombie has very poor stats for his cost. However, his ability to make a Smashing Gargantuar can make your opponent think twice before using cards that do damage over multiple lanes. Hence, this will deter opponents from just recklessly using Sour Grapes, Cherry Bomb and Lightning Reed.

Electric Boogaloo can use Gargantuar Throwing Imp effectively since he has access to the most Gargantuars out of all Crazy heroes. He can also use Maniacal Laugh and Vitamin Z to boost the health of Gargantuar Throwing Imp, producing more Smashing Gargantuars and allowing him to inflict more damage.

Professor Brainstorm can use him with Teleport to put him in a lane filled with low-strength plants to purposefully activate his ability, which is useful if he has Imp-Throwing Gargantuar and Wizard Gargantuar on the field.

Z-Mech can also use health-boosting tricks like Rock Wall and Camel Crossing on Gargantuar Throwing Imp to improve his overall survivability. But you must note that even though this zombie depicts a Gargantuar being carried by an Imp, it isn't part of the Gargantuar tribe, meaning that Gargologist doesn't lower its brain cost. If you still need to lower its brain cost, resort to using Flag Zombie.

Impfinity can pair him up with Imp Commander to draw cards should Gargantuar Throwing Imp hit the plant hero, as well as Toxic Waste Imp, which will destroy any plant he hurts.

Due to his low stats, Gargantuar Throwing Imp synergizes well with Valkyrie. He also pairs well with Unlife of the Party, as he will be boosted whenever Gargantuar Throwing Imp is hurt.

If increasing his health is not an option, there are means of forcing him to throw multiple Smashing Gargantuars with his two health. If there is a lane with two attacking plants, both plants will trigger his ability.

Boosting the strength of this zombie can result in placing your opponent into dilemma - if they ignore him, he will continue to do damage. If they damage him, then Smashing Gargantuars will be made. However, do not boost him too much or your opponent will not hesitate to destroy him.
Against

Try to destroy him in one attack, as the more attacks he takes, the more Smashing Gargantuars you must deal with. Tricks that destroy zombies, like Weed Whack, Squash, Lawnmower or Whack-a-Zombie, work best, as they don't damage the zombie. This prevents him from creating any Smashing Gargantuars. If you must destroy him by other means, make sure you have a way to destroy any Smashing Gargantuars he creates. Shamrocket and other such tricks work well to destroy the Smashing Gargantuars made. Do not use Shroom for Two or Pair of Pears against this zombie, as he can easily make two Smashing Gargantuars because he will take damage twice. If you made 6 that turn, Water Balloons will be effective, but if not, just ignore him until you have enough sun. If there are several Smashing Gargantuars, Doom-Shroom is a good choice to wipe out all of them.

Event Card Analysis: Banana Split

Banana SplitH

Banana Split is a 4 cost, 4/4 Banana Plant. His ability makes 2 Half Bananas next door.

Banana Split has average stats for a 4 plant, with 4/4. However, its ability can be useful for blocking dangerous threats next door, except the aquatic lane. If there are two strong zombies in adjacent lanes, you can play Banana Split in front of the first strong zombie and let it get destroyed before the fight phase, Half-Bananas can be made so you can block those attacks. In general, you can treat it as Barrel Roller Zombie, but with better stats and lack of any additional traits.

Just note that unlike the Swabbies made from Barrel Roller Zombie, the Half-Bananas made when Banana Split is destroyed do not have the Amphibious trait, so you cannot block an attack from a strong zombie on the aquatic lane. In addition, it only makes Half-Bananas if the adjacent lanes either are unoccupied, or have a Team-Up plant.

You can also use Banana Split's ability to boost Muscle Sprout, although it requires spacing. The Half-Bananas made when the Banana Split is destroyed are counted as playing plants, therefore playing a Banana Split and letting it be destroyed can boost Muscle Sprout for 3/3.

You can treat Banana Split as a stronger plant version of Barrel Roller Zombie as it makes Half-Bananas next door when destroyed. While both Banana Split and the Half-Bananas have strong stats, they do not have Amphibious or Deadly like Barrel Roller Zombie. However, you need to be careful when your opponent plays this as it can block powerful attacks from your strong zombies on adjacent lanes, protecting your opponent for at least one turn.

If you want to destroy it instantly, a Cakesplosion or Rocket Science is enough to destroy Banana Split, although it will still make Half-Bananas next door.

To destroy the Half-Bananas, the easiest solutions are Weed Spray and The Chickening.
